Google Pagerank update owned me.

Shitty – seems google just did another PR update, this time it owned me in the face, I lost at least 1, accross all my sites, even though the number of quality backlinks have increased significantly since the last update. On a brighter note, one of my works sites PR actually increased (the only one I’ve seen so far with this update!) Maybe I’ll get some brownie points for that? 
BTW, I have no idea WTF this image is supposed to represent, I just found it on image search and thought, fuck it, it’ll do.
Anyone else noticing it get harder and harder to move that little green bar up? I’ve had several sites with pr5 in my network, now they are barley struggling to hold onto a pr3. One of my sites is an authoritive too, ranked number 1 for the majority of its target phrases accross the board. WTFBBQ Google.
